Our workshop studio

Born in the UK, Tony spent much of his early life in England and Africa before moving to the U.S. His interest in Art and painting began as a young boy and continued as he traveled to France, Italy, and Germany then to some of the remotest parts of Africa.

Gradually his interest grew both in Abstract patterns drawn by Man and those present in the Natural World.

In 1996, with his wife Libby he opened an Art and Frame Gallery in Naples, Florida and learned the techniques of picture framing and computer mat cutting. They selected and hung pictures in the larger homes built in South West Florida before selling the gallery in 1999. Semi-retired, he devoted his time to several pursuits including wilderness hiking and biking while continuing to paint until he found himself painting Abstract Decorative Art for clients who needed colorful images larger than they could find elsewhere, in colors that suited their their decor.

After several years of trial and error he mastered the techniques needed to paint the patterns found in Marble and Quartz which are so popular in home decor, as well as those of the ocean currents. He specializes in large size pieces - expressed in the name chosen for his business. They may be painted as an original at any size, or smaller then scanned and printed larger. All are painted in his workshop studio in Naples where he builds stretched canvas or panel frames and dries them on wide racks in a temperature controlled environment.
